August Homebrew Club Meetings

If you’re a homebrewer living in the Bay Area looking for other like-minded individuals, you won’t have far to travel. Here’s a list of active clubs and this month’s meeting schedule.

If you’re interested, please click through to the club website to confirm time and location. I’ve tried to be accurate, but I’m only active with a few of these clubs (those located near the South Bay) and my information may be in error.

Some clubs publish their meeting location while others prefer to keep that information off the web. Again, use their website to get the current information.

Please post updates/corrections/additions to the comments.

“You may also let your readers know we have a homebrew competition coming up in October — that is, Oaktoberfest, our German beers only competition. Details are being updated on the Oaktoberfest page of our site (madzymurgists.org ). Sure, you can brew a good German beer, but do you have what it takes to get a ribbon or BOS plaque in this competition?? Judging will be by experienced and qualified BJCP judges, and winners can claim their award live at the 2010 Oaktoberfest in the Dimond Festival (see oaktoberfest.org for more info), taking place October 9th.” – Brian, Mad Zymurgist

    Hey Peter,
I’m pretty sure that BAM will not be having their regular meeting in light of the “Joint Meeting” that you have down. Hope to see you guys in the Park on Sun.
