SF Beer Week 2012 is nearly upon us! While the city of San Francisco will be the epicenter of this 10-day celebration of craft beer, events will be held in just about every corner of the Bay Area. Here in the South Bay, the premiere event will be the Meet the Brewers craft beer festival hosted by Hermitage Brewing Company. And while this local festival, with over a dozen breweries and several gourmet food trucks in participation, is shaping up to be a fantastic event, let's not foget about the local businesses that support craft beer. These businesses have stepped up this year and I will be blogging about their events leading up to the SF Beer Week Opening Celebration, starting with long time BetterBeerBlog supporter Wine Affairs.

Last Call… for Coverage
Because of the increased number of events happening here in the South Bay, and my yet to be developed ability to be everywhere at once, we won't be able to make it to everything. That said, we would love to hear about your experiences at any of the events you attend. If you're interested in writing a blog post for BetterBeerBlog recapping your experiences at any of the upcoming SF Beer Week events, South Bay or not, let me know.
I have always envisioned BetterBeerBlog being a resource for craft beer in the South Bay and this is my way of asking my community of readers for a little bit of help getting that started. Regardless if anyone actually takes me up on this offer, I hope everyone has a safe and fun SF Beer Week!
Check back tomorrow for the next round of South Bay SF Beer Week events, that I know of.
Mabuhay!
