My apologies for getting this information out so late. I usually try and publish information about upcoming events early enough for you to take into consideration when planning your social schedules but it would appear that I am a day behind this week. Totally though yesterday was just Monday. That said, local craft brewery Strike Brewing Company is taking their turn at the table and is the featured brewery at California Café’s beer dinner series.

I’ve been a fan of Strike Brewing since I first had their craft beers. I enjoy that they’re working in the “session beer” space, as by many accounts that’s the segment that’s going to go through a boom next. That said, their latest offerings, the higher in alcohol Imperial Red and IPA are pretty stellar as well.
Looking at the menu, there are a few things that have caught my eye. I’m interested in seeing how the oyster/wit pairing works out as I’ve never been a fan of the oyster/stout pairing. I am also looking forward to seeing how the progression of the dinner goes as the Strike Brewing Brown is the dessert beer. In any case, I have faith that Executive Chef Todd Yamanaka and Sous Chef Robert Osbourne will make things work.
Mabuhay!
