This was the first beer and food pairing event were we ran into some difficulties. Initially scheduled to be on February 15th to commemorate Valentine’s Day, we had to reschedule as a lot of our invitees ended being out of town for the long weekend. I completely forgot President’s Day was that same weekend as our weekend.
Too bad for us. The lesson learned was to look at the calendar much more closely when picking dates for out events.
We did a beer and dessert event about this time last year and it was a success. In fact, it was our very first event ever. So the wife and I decided to do the same thing again this year.
