Can Do Multiple Sclerosis
MS is an inflammatory disease that affects the brain and spinal column. Because of this, just about any neurological symptoms can develop and in the long term, MS can lead to physical and/or cognitive disability. There is no cure. Current treatments help to restore loss of function, help to prevent future attacks, and hopefully prevent disabilities.
This is where Can Do Multiple Sclerosis can help people living with MS. So help us help Can Do Multiple Sclerosis by attending Meet the Brewers 2012 and having a good time.

You might get more awareness for events like this if you add a Facebook share button.
I usually do for the individual posts but not for the pages. Thanks for the feedback though, I’ll look into it.
Hi Peter! So the ticket price is for beer only? Food would be in addition to the ticket price?
Yes, ticket prices are just for beer only.
Only 2 weeks and counting! Still waiting to hear from Carolyn and Alison @ Tied House about the volunteer sign ups. Are you working on that? Last year was a blast.
Fred – I am working with Tied House, yes, on planning this event. However, Tied House is organizing the volunteers. As soon as they let me know that they’re accepting volunteers, I’ll make an announcement.
Oak aged Imperial Pils and Weizenbock plus a Golden Export to wash it all down! Looking forward to it!
Those sound wonderful Dan! Looking forward to trying those out at the festival!
Is there anything offered for the designated drivers with their admission ticket? Do they get soda or anything? Thanks.
I believe that the Hermitage brewing sodas will be served.
what does $5 get me as a designated driver? It already sucks enough being the DD, but paying to babysit…i mean hang out w/ friends while they get to drink? ehhh…
The $5 should be to cover the Hermitage brand sodas that will be pouring there, but I will check with Tied House to make sure.
The address above just shows up as an area full of car repair and car recycling areas in google map. Is this correct?
Hermitage Brewing is located towards the back of the industrial park. The event is being held at the production brewery and not the brewpub. Hope to see you there.
You should invite out the Drunk Monkey food truck from Santa Cruz: 831-818-9523.
Thanks for the tip! I think the selection of food trucks this year is set but I’ll add them to the list of possibles next year.
You really should consider doing this downtown next time so that folks can use public transportation and you wouldn’t have to have so many people settle for being DDs, and you also would not exclude people who don’t own cars. This location is just not accessible to people not driving. Thanks.
Thank you for the advice. I’ll take it back to the planning team and we’ll definitely discuss it.
Tamien Light Rail is only 1.2 miles away, according to Google Maps. Easy to bike, if the weather cooperates. Not even that bad to walk.
That’s not too far at all, maybe a 10-15 minute walk, 5 minute bike ride at the most.
Is this going to be inside or outside???
This event will be held rain or shine. There will be indoor and outdoor spaces for the festival but a great amount of the festival will be held indoors. Of course the food trucks will be outside but not too far from cover. I hope you will be able to attend the festival!
I followed the link for the 2012 festival and it does not appear the website has been updated. When will the site be updated for this years event?
Thanks!
I’ll update it tonight!
This is a do-not-miss event, for lovers of good beer & food. We had a great time last year!
Peter,
The #68 bus runs from Diridon Station downtown (Caltrain), runs down 2nd St. (Light Rail) and drops you off at the corner of Monterey and Phelan with the event just around the corner. Pretty easy to get to the event if you are not driving!
Woohoo! looking forward to that one..
Just to clarify, admission is with online ticket only or can be paid at the door?
nevermind found it.
I am going with a group of beer drinking friends, but I do not like beer. Will there be non-beer drinks (e.g. wine or cocktails) that I could get for the $25 fee?
Can I purchase tickets at the door? if so will the price change
